Visual artist Arina Starykh was born in Moscow in 1996 and currently lives and works in France. She explores corporeality, sexuality, relationships, and traumas from a queer perspective with a female gaze. Her keen attention to detail and obsession with different textures, materials, and fabrics are inherent to fashion photography, while her aesthetics and sensual, almost voyeuristic approach emerged from conceptual and contemporary art practices.

L'artiste visuelle Arina Starykh est née à Moscou en 1996 et vit et travaille actuellement en France. Elle explore la corporalité, la sexualité, les relations et les traumatismes d'un point de vue queer avec un female gaze. Son souci du détail et son obsession pour les différentes textures, matières et tissus sont inhérents à la photographie de mode, tandis que son esthétique et son approche sensuelle, presque voyeuriste, sont issues des pratiques de l'art conceptuel et de l'art contemporain.
